Used in the treatment of upper &, lower resp tract infections eg, acute sinusitis, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia, uncomplicated &, complicated skin &, skin structure infections (diabetic foot infections), uncomplicated pelvic inflammatory disease, complicated intra-abdominal infections including polymicrobial infections eg, abscesses.
