Indications/ Uses: Hypertension, angina pectoris due to coronary atherosclerosis and arrhythmia.
Contraindications: Asthma, heart failure, 2nd- and 3rd-degree heart block, and cardiogenic shock.

Product Usage
Adult HTN Initially 50 mg daily. May increase dose to a max of 100 mg/day in divided doses. Angina pectoris Initially 50 mg daily. Max: 100 mg/day in divided doses. Cardiac dysrhythmias Following IV atenolol in the acute phase, give an oral maintenance dose of 50-100 mg daily.
