Special Precautions: Do not use until acute gouty attacks (gout flare) has completely subsided. Not recommended for patients with ischemic heart disease or CHF. Severe renal & hepatic impairment. Children <18 y/o. Side Effects: Liver function abnormalities; diarrhea; headache; nausea & rash.
