BACTROBAN Bactroban 2% Mupirocin 20mg/g Ointment 15g
Mupirocin (Bactroban 2%) ointment is indicated for the topical treatment of primary bacterial skin infections such as folliculitis, impetigo, furunculosis, and ecthyma. Secondary bacterial skin infections such as infected dermatoses (infected eczema) and infected traumatic lesions (abrasions, insect bites, minor wounds and burns not requiring hospitalization). Prophylaxis used to avoid bacterial contamination of small wounds, incisions and other clean lesions and to prevent infection of small cuts and wounds.

Should not be given to patients with hisyory of hypersensitivity to mupirocin or any of the cpnstituents of the preparations. In the rare event of a possible sensitisation recation or severe local irritation occurring with the use of the product
