Prepping your skin before you put on your makeup is extremely important. Well, skin does not look it's happiest when it is dry and tired. Keep reading and learn how to prep your skin properly to ensure a flawless face of makeup.

#1 Start with cleanser

First thing first, give your skin a gentle cleanse. This is the first and most important step of all in achieving that flawless makeup complexion. Wash your face with lukewarm water and use a mild cleanser to get rid of the dirt and oil. This can definitely help with product absorption before applying makeup.

#2 Boost your hydration

Popping on a hydrating sheet mask and give your skin a radiance boost. Wait for about 20 minutes and let it work its magic. Once you’re done, gently massage any excess serum into your skin and let it soak up the juicy goodness for a dewy complexion.

Next, warm a bit of your favourite moisturiser between your fingers, then massage into the skin using upward motions to seals in the active ingredients of the mask.
