Sambong is the only scientifically studied anti-urolithiasis and diuretic herbal preparation in the Philippines today. Anti-urolithiasis means dissolving or preventing the formation of urinary tract stones while diuretic means increasing the passage of urine.
Blumea balsamifera L. Sambong Leaf (Remoston) Tablet is an anti-urolithiasis in patients with urinary tract stones with normal kidney function. It is a diuretic in patients with edema.
