Canesten is an antifungal preparation for external use.
It contains Clotrimazole 10mg. It is used for the treatment of dermatomycoses caused by fungi, yeasts and molds:
Athlete's foot (alipunga)
Hand fungus
Ringworm (buni)
Jock itch (hadhad)
Pityriasis versicolor (an-an)
Other skin fungal infections (cutanenous candidiasis, erythrasma)

Product Usage
Apply thinly 2-3 times a day and gently rub in. A strip of cream (1/2 cm long) is enough to treat an area about the size of the hand.
To ensure complete healing depending on the indication, the treatment should be continued according to the indications specified below even if symptoms disappear:
Dermatomycoses: 3-4 weeks
Erythrasma: 2-4 weeks
Pityriasis versicolor: 1-3 weeks
Candida vulvitis and Candida balantis: 1-2 weeks
