Product Usage

Essential HTN Initially 12.5 mg daily for the 1st 2 days, continue w/ 25 mg once daily. May be increased to 25 mg bid for min of 14 days. Max: 25 mg as single dose or 50 mg total daily dose. Chronic stable angina Initially 12.5 mg bid for the 1st 2 days, continue w/ 25 mg bid. May be subsequently increased at interval of at least 2 wk up to max of 100 mg given in divided doses daily.

Warnings

Heart failure belonging to NYHA Class IV of the heart failure classification with marked fluid retention or overload requiring intravenous inotropic treatment; Bronchial asthma; Prinzmetal's angina.
