How to Use

Take this medication as directed by your doctor. Read the Medication Guide and the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking and each time you get a refill. Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 30 mins to 1 hour before meals.

Warnings

Myocardial insufficiency or ECG evidence of MI or ischemia; DM or insipidus. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly. Side Effects: Skin rash; pruritus; increased appetite; abdominal cramps. Interactions: Phenytoin levels may be increased. May increase the effects of anticoagulants & sympathomimetics. Carbamazepine; cardiac glycosides. Accelerates response to TCAs.
