Warnings

Monitoring of blood count & liver function in case of long-term treatment with high dosage. CNS adverse effects in patients with renal impairment. Exclude gastric malignancy prior initiation of therapy of gastric ulcer. Determine H. pylori status in patients with duodenal & benign gastric ulcers. Avoid abrupt withdrawal after symptom relief in case of long-standing ulcer disease. Risk of community- or hospital-acquired pneumonia. May affect ability to drive & use machine. Renal impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly. FC tab: Do not administer in cases of minor GI complaints.
