LILAC Lactulose 3.35g/5mL Syrup 120mL [PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED]

Laxative Indication: For the treatment of constipation; hepatic encephalopathy (HE) including stages of hepatic pre-coma and coma.

Product Usage

Dosing:AdultInitially 15-30 mL as a single dose or in 2 divided doses.

  • Childn 5-10 yr10 mL twice a day;≤1-5 yr5 mL twice a day.
  • Hepatic encephalopathy30-50 mL tid; subsequently adjusted to produce 2-3 soft stools daily.

    • Ingredients

    Each 5mL of syrup contains 3.35g Lactulose.

    Storage Information

    Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from sunlight. Under recommended storage conditions a normal darkening of color may occur. Such darkening is characteristic of sugar solutions and does not affect therapeutic efficacy.
