RITEMED Glibenclamide 5mg 1 Tablet [Prescription Required]

Indications/ Uses: for the treatment of type II diabetes mellitus

Contraindications: history of allergic reactions to sulfonylureas or sulfonamides. type 1 diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis with or withour coma, diabetic coma and pre-coma, acute porphyria; severe infection, stress-related states. Severe renal and hepatic impairment. Pregnancy. Concominant use with bosentan.

Product Usage

Initially 2.5-5 mg daily. May adjust dose at intervals w/ 2.5 mg increments. Max: 20 mg/day. Doses >10 mg/day may be given in divided doses. Special Precautions
Patients w/ CV disease; debilitated, malnourished & adrenal or pituitary insufficiency. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Renal & hepatic impairment. Fasting patients. Neonatal hypoglycemia, embryotoxicity & birth defects. Elderly.
