Product Usage
Acute diarrhea:
Adult: Initially 2 tablet with subsequent dose of 1 tablet after each fluid evacuation.
Children >12 yr: Initially 1 tablet with subsequent dose of 1 tablet after each fluid evacuation.
Chronic diarrhea:
Adult: Initially 2 tab/day.
Children: >12 yr 1 tab/day. Adjust dose until 1 or 2 solid evacuation/day occur. Maintenance dose: Usually 1-6 tab/day. Maximum dose: 6 tab/day.
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindicated in children < 12 years old.
