The pouch is placed on the belly with the Velcro facing outward and the injured arm is made to snuggle into it The straps stitched on the pouch are taken below the injured arm and crossed at the back Then these are thrown over the shoulder passed through the reverse buckle mechanism and passed using hook and loop tabes at the required horizontal position of the arm Velcro stitched end of the arm restraint band is made to stick on the front side of the pouch It is then encircled around the body along with the injured arm and fastened securely so that the injured arm is tightly immobilized
