ZOLIGET Pioglitazone Hcl 15mg Glimepiride 2mg 1 Tablet [PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED]

Anti-Diabetic Indication: As an adjunct to diet and exercise for the improvement of glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are already treated with pioglitazone and a sulfonylurea and whose diabetes is not adequately controlled with glimepiride alone or those patients who have initially responded to pioglitazone alone and require additional glycemic control.

Max daily dose: 45 mg/8 mg.Patient currently on pioglitazone monotherapyInitially 15 mg/2 mg once daily.Patient currently on glimepiride monotherapyInitially 15 mg/2 mg once daily.Patient switching from combination therapy of pioglitazone plus glimepiride as separate tabInitially 15 mg/2 mg.Patient currently on a different sulfonylurea monotherapy or switching from combination therapy of pioglitazone plus a different sulfonylureaInitially 15 mg/2 mg once daily.Should be taken with food: Take w/ the 1st main meal.
