It is also used for relief of reversible mild to moderate bronchospasm (difficulty of breathing due to tight airways) in adults and children 2 years of age and older with obstructive airway disease such as asthma and chronic bronchitis.

Product Usage
Adults: 5 mL (1 teaspoon) 3 to 4 times a day. Dose may be increased as needed per physician's advice.
Children (13 years old and above): 5 mL (1 teaspoon) 3 times a day. Dose may be increased as needed, per physician's advice.
Children (2 years to 12 years old): As prescribed by the physician.
Your physician may give a different dose for you depending on his assessment.
